Amy Vandenberg, CPDT-KA

Amy is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and has been training in a professional capacity for years.  She has a wide range of experience. She works with dogs in the shelter setting with a myriad of different behavior challenges. Amy has served as a consulting trainer for a law enforcement K9 unit to educate and transition their officers into utilizing positive reinforcement based training methods.  Amy also works with individual clients in their homes and on location.  

Amy believes in educating people on the ‘whys’ and ‘hows’ of positive reinforcement dog training to meet their training goals.  She is patient and compassionate, and loves partnering with dogs and families to create harmonious, safe, and happy households. She is particularly passionate about assisting families with integrating rescue dogs into their homes, as well as preparing resident dogs for a new child joining the family.
